Xue Ke is a very proud and unyielding person. She is rather spoiled, but maintains a noble aura.
Plot[]
Xue Ke learns from the Moon Pavilion to polish up her noble aura under the tutelage of Tang Yuehua. She was the most outstanding student in her year until the arrival of Tang San. She is taken by his handsomeness and gracefulness. She falls in love with him and wishes to marry him, despite him being a commoner and asking Tang Yuehua, which title a commoner would need to reach in order to marry a princess. If it wasn't for the fact that he is a commoner, she would have professed her love a long time ago.
She happily gives up her position of playing the harp at the graduation ceremony to Tang San as the most outstanding student as he is by a long distance the best among them. She is rather reluctant to part with him following the graduation.
