  • Welp, the light novel are refering to rank 95 and above as Super Douluo, and rank 99 as Limit Douluo. If you don't want to change that then fine.

    But BeiBei isn't just his grandson, he calls Mu En profound ancestor and is directly refer to as Mu Lao's descendant. Mu Lao is over 200 years old and Beibei is just 17 years old at the time.

    'profound ancestorThis clearly is the name of rank. The fathergrandfather and paternal great-grandfather, are the profound ancestor fatherThey do not know that Beibei unexpectedly is the Old Mu descendant.'

    • First, yes, they call Title Douluos of Rank 95+ "Supreme Douluos" and Title Douluos of Rank 99 "Limit Douluos", but this really doesn't change anything as far as I can tell and as far as the story is concerned.

      Second, "BeiBei isn't just his grandson" isn't a valid argument to not specify that fact. Moreover, the age plays basically no role here, because we don't know when Mu Lao had children, or even when one of those children had BeiBei, and Spirit Masters of higher Ranks have long lifespans. The only important fact in question here is whether BeiBei is his grandson or not, and so far nothing I know or you said suggests otherwise.

  • The Spirit Rank pages contain a category known as "no spirit yet" so I added the "No spirit" part in SL 3 since that's the part where we actually find someone without a spirit for awhile. as I consider them seperate entities due to one being pre awakening one being post awakening without the spirit. Just wanted to update you since some people don't agree with my reasoning for some strange reason.

    • No problem. I only want there to be "No Spirit Yet" section for any character that is younger than 6 and therefore prior to the awakening ceremony; you're welcome to add any category that is required. =)

    • If you mean character infobox, there are two ways:

      1. If the character has only one main picture (e.g., Tang Xiao), then you should use the Template:Character Infobox and set the |Image line to the image you desire.
        Ex.:
        {{Character Infobox|Image = Tang Tian.jpg}}
      2. If the character is meant to have multiple main pictures (e.g., Tang San), then you should use the Template:Character Infobox Tabber and then add as many |Tab and |Image (with appropriate numerical identifier) lines as you require.
        Ex.:
        {{Character Infobox Tabber
        |Tab 01 = Fan Art
        |Image 01 = Tang San Fan Art.jpg
        |Tab 02 = Manhua
        |Image 02 = Tang San 31.jpg}}

      When it comes to Spirits, you only need to know one Template:Infobox Spirit, and to add image you merely need to change the line |Image.
      Ex.:

      {{Infobox Spirit|Image = None.jpg}}

      NOTE: When using this template, remember to define the |Type line to "Beast Spirit", "Tool Spirit", or "Body Spirit".

      Good luck!

    Well done man. If you need anything, let me know. I spoke to Daitainsg a couple of days ago. I mentioned the troubles. He was kind enough to promote both of us.

    • Thank you! I already noticed and my first act was to spread around congratulations to both Rumstein and Nkg, who haven't received it yet as far as I could tell. =)

      My current plan for the wiki is to completely re-structure it--and I mean it more in-depth than merely the menubar items. Some pages may get a complete change, while others may merely be moved around; I hope it's going to please, but do interject if you see anything problematic, wrong, or otherwise displeasing.

    • So there goes my first change. Let me know what you think of the new Wiki-navigation layout.

      PS: Anyone who also comes across this message is welcome to chime in.

      EDIT: I've implemented a fair few changes, let me know what you think. Everyone should have a decent idea about the direction this is headed, so if you wish to merge or separate some articles in my stead, feel free!

      Also, I still need to backtrack the link usage for some of the pages that should no longer be in use after these changes are fully implemented.

  • Hey,

    Could you add the create your own spirit and abilities part 2 to the main homepage under games so people can find it easier?

    • actually that sounds like a better idea and may help remove confusion. I move to vote that we rename the main one 'Create your own Spirit (Max Posts)' and rename part two to just 'Create your own Spirit'. Remove the old one from the main page and post links to the old one and reasons as to why in the new one as suggested

  • Yooo Athanos !

    What's this series about ? Would you recommend it ?

      Loading editor
    • Hey there, fancy meeting you here!

      First, the answer to your question greatly depends on whether you plan on reading the Light Novel or the Manhua. If you're going to read the Manhua of SL1, then the plot is a crap at times, but you are somewhat compensated with the visualisations. SL2 Manhua is considerably better because it rarely deviates from the original LN, and you may not even read the SL1 in order to read SL2, because there is tremendous time gap (thousands of years) between the two story lines.

      All works by this author focus mainly on how the characters face challenges ranging from complicated situations to confrontations--lots and lots of confrontations. Also, unlike in the ToG universe, there is fairly specific structure to the power development of characters that makes it much easier to follow and compare the progress.

      Another commonality in works by this author is that the main character often starts with some kind of disadvantage only to overcome it with talent and hard work, and later discover that it wasn't a disadvantage in the first place and becomes OP. If you have issues with OP main characters, this may not be the best recommendation for you.

      I usually recommend only Shen Yin Wang Zuo (Light Novel; also by this author) to people who might be interested in this genre, but if you like the premise definitely give the Soul Land a try. =)

    • I'm learning to manage my issues against OP main characters, so I'll put this on my reading list ! I'll be reading the manhua though (cba to read light novels hehehe).

      Thank you for your time ^^
