Lei Jun, Bi Ran and Wu Yuhan participated in the Skysea Tournament. They encountered class zero, Tang Wulin, Xie Xie, and Gu Yue, of Eastsea Academy as their first opponents in the round-robin round of the spirit master team competition.
As soon as the match started, Bi Ran charged toward class zero with Wu Yuhan and Lei Jun behind him on his left and right respectively maintaining their triangle formation. As soon as they saw Tang Wulin with a purple spirit ring, they decided to launch a pincer attack on him.
Sparks curled around Lei Jun’s being made from pure electricity.[1] Electric snakes slithered out of his body, converging into a ball in front of him. Lei Jun launched his rippling electric sphere straight at Tang Wulin. At the same time Wu Yuhan launched a lightning attack at him.[1]
When the thunder ball reached Tang Wulin, he grabbed it with his right golden dragon claw and crushed it with his fist.[2] When Lei Jun prepared to use his second soul skill, Gu Yue dropped a giant ball of water on top of him. The water soaking him conducted his electricity and completely dispersed it, draining him of soul power.[2]
A portion of Tang Wulin's Bluesilver Grass encroached upon the wet Lei Jun. The water soon froze into ice, leaving him incapable of defending against Tang Wulin’s Bind. Row upon row of icicles floated in the air surrounding him, ready to impale him at a moment’s notice.[2] Frozen and restricted by Bluesilver Grass, he was practically a lump of meat on the chopping block.[2] Wu Yuhan had to be protected by the referee from Xie Xie's attack, while Bi Ran was struggling to defend himself against Tang Wulin's attacks. The referee ended the match with victory going to class zero.
